  • Red Dawn is an all-American action film that keeps a firm grip on your attention with few dull points, but falls ridiculously short of reality. 

  • Sinister is a supernatural horror flick that will rival those films set to haunt this Halloween season. The film trailer garners low expectations, as it appears to be another traditional ‘haunted house’ flick. Fortunately, Sinister throws the horrific clichés through some serious twists, and is sure to send even the sturdiest heart racing. 

  • Looper is an action packed futuristic thriller better suited amongst the summer box office hits, but instead strikes movie goers with a pleasant surprise and a good start to the Fall season. Writer and director Rian Johnson manages a challenging time travel film without the usual science fiction feel.
